Over the course of five consecutive days, eleven young people aged 8-15 learned various animation techniques encompassing drawn (peg-bar and whiteboard), pixillation (using found objects), cut-out card and 3-D model animation.
The first day concentrated on drawn animation.
The second day involved pixillation and cut-out animation
The third day began by writing a short film script, and then storyboarding, following a session by professional storyboard artist Pippa Marks.
Days four and five were spent filming the animations and then creating the soundtracks using Garageband and recording voice-overs.
